This Privacy Policy explains how bryla collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our color-matching app, website, and related services (the “Services”).

- Saved palettes, favorite paints, paint inventory, comparisons, project notes, and support messages.
- Photos you intentionally select or capture for color matching.

- Sampled color values such as HEX, RGB, or LAB values and paint-match results.
- Basic usage, device, crash, and diagnostic information needed to operate and improve the Services.
Photo handling
By default, source photos used for color sampling are not retained after the matching process. If you explicitly choose to save a photo, it may be stored with your match history until you delete it. Color values and match results may be saved without the original image. Camera and photo-library access are used only after you grant permission.
How we use information
- Provide color matching, paint search, comparison, palette, and library features.
- Sync your saved work and maintain your account.
- Respond to support, privacy, accessibility, and database-correction requests.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve performance.

We may share information with service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support the Services, subject to appropriate contractual protections. The MVP is not intended to sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, legal compliance, security, and dispute resolution. You may delete saved items in the app and request account or data deletion through Support. Some limited records may remain where legally required or in secure backups until they cycle out.

You may manage camera and photo permissions through your device, change saved-photo preferences, correct profile information, download available account data, or request deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to appeal certain decisions. We will verify requests as required by law.
Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and bryla does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your account credentials and notify us of suspected misuse.
Changes
