bryla Privacy Policy

bryla (“bryla,” “we,” or “us”) is an artist paint-matching application. This policy explains the information bryla processes when you use the app and how that information is used.

Information bryla processes

• Account information. bryla uses account information needed to authenticate you and provide access to your account.
• Saved creative data. If you save items, bryla may store saved colors, saved paints, palettes, and related notes or metadata associated with your account.
• Subscription information. For paid iOS access, bryla stores Apple subscription identifiers and entitlement status needed to verify whether your subscription is active. Apple handles payment-card and billing information.
• Photos selected for color sampling. When you take or choose a photo for color sampling, the bryla interface reads that image on the device/browser to sample pixels and identify a color. Photos are not saved unless you choose Save Photo to Library or enable automatic photo saving; saved reference photos are stored privately with your account.
• Location used for nearby-store search. If you choose Find Nearby Stores and allow location access, bryla uses your current latitude and longitude only to request nearby art-supply-store results. Those coordinates are sent to bryla's server and mapping/search providers to service that request and are not stored in bryla's database by the nearby-store feature. You can use city or ZIP search instead of device location.
• Usage and analytics information. bryla's platform analytics may process an app session identifier, your bryla user ID when you are signed in, page or screen URLs, timestamps, and app-usage events. bryla uses this information to understand feature usage, operate the service, and troubleshoot problems.
• Technical information. bryla's hosting and platform services may also process standard device, request, log, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the application.

How information is used

bryla uses information to authenticate accounts, provide paint matching and saved-library features, verify subscription access, provide nearby-store search when requested, understand app usage, operate and secure the service, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

bryla does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support the application, including bryla's application-hosting/authentication provider, Apple for App Store subscriptions, and mapping/search providers used to return nearby-store results. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

bryla keeps account and saved-app information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request permanent deletion directly inside bryla from Profile → Delete Account. That action removes your bryla account and associated saved app data handled by bryla. Deleting a bryla account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; Apple subscriptions can be managed separately in your Apple account.

Security

bryla uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

bryla is not directed to children under 13, and bryla does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as bryla changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
