These Terms of Use govern access to bryla’s app, website, paint database, color-matching tools, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you create an account, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of unauthorized use. A parent or guardian must approve use where required by law.

What bryla provides

bryla helps artists sample colors, locate similar artist paints, compare product attributes, organize palettes, and maintain a personal paint library. Features and database records may change as sources are updated or corrected.

Color and product accuracy

Color matches and similarity scores are estimates. Lighting, camera processing, display calibration, surface, pigment behavior, binder, finish, age, and application thickness can affect appearance. Always test paint in your real working conditions. Product attributes, availability, and prices can change; manufacturer information controls if it conflicts with bryla.

Paint safety

bryla does not replace manufacturer labels, Safety Data Sheets, or professional health and safety guidance. Follow all warnings, ventilation requirements, disposal instructions, and studio-safety practices. Do not rely on bryla for medical, toxicological, or regulatory decisions.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos, palettes, notes, and other content you submit. You give bryla a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the Services. Do not upload content you lack permission to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services, interfere with security, scrape or copy the database at scale, reverse engineer protected portions, upload harmful material, violate others’ rights, or use bryla unlawfully.

Third-party services

The Services may link to paint manufacturers, retailers, sign-in providers, and other third parties. bryla does not control their products, availability, prices, policies, or content. A link is not a guarantee or endorsement.

Intellectual property

bryla, its visual identity, software, original content, and database organization are owned by bryla or its licensors. Brand names and product names remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability and termination

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. You may stop using bryla at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, security risks, legal requirements, or prolonged inactivity, subject to applicable law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, bryla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost work, or reliance on a color or product match.

Governing law

These Terms are intended to be governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. The final dispute process and venue must be confirmed by counsel before launch.

Changes

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
